Flaske 500ml på Ship Inn, Plymouth 22 Sep 16. Gyldengulbrun. Høyt kritthvitt skum som daler sakte. Lett & god fruktaroma. Smaken balansert. Fersken & plommer. Tørr etter hvert. Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Uklar siste kvelling med partikler i glasset. Litt bunnfall.

Bottle: Slightly hazy golden/amber with a short white head. Orange, grapefruit, mango scent. Sweet, orange, tropical, caramel malt flavor. Nice, solid grapefruit-peel bitter. Very fruity.....really good.

500ml bottle, 7.2 %, at Ship Inn, Plymouth. Slowly dissipating white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Clear, warm golden coloured body. Dried fruity aroma with a touch of caramel. Rich taste of apricot, brittle caramel and citrus shells. Jam-like impression. Drying malt-fruity ending. A well blended dipa (Shared with Finn 22.09.2016).

Bottle (thanks to someone from the Cornish pipe smoker’s group). Orange, mango, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet orange/pineapple/mango, caramel malt, and moderately bitter dry grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Body on the lighter side. Nice balance. Very pleasant.

Bottle from Purely Cornish, Looe. Clear deeper golden with a very thin head and a carbonation. It is heavily hopped as it says on the bottle, and despite its noticeable strength, the aforementioned remains its dominant characteristic, and there’s a decent enough fruitiness to the ale too in both its aroma and taste.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, some floral and resiny notes along with some sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is floral, mild fruits, some resin, a bit nutty notes as well as some toffee and mild herbal notes. Mellow finish. Tasty.
