First brewed in 2013, our latest edition will be launched with Apollo hops in the boil. To commemorate the “Columbia” command module of Apollo 11, we will add Columbus hops, along with Centennial (to mark the half-century). A late hopping of Comet and Chinook will see the Hop Rocket off to the fermentation tank, where a generous dry-hopping of Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe (representing the three-man crew of Apollo 11) will add classic American pine and citrus notes to this 4.5% Session IPA.

My first from this brewery which brings up my 30th beer from Kent. Pours a light misted bright gold/light amber with a lively foamy pour which settles quickly. Aroma of orange marmalade and pine which suggests an old skool offering but there is a nice freshness on the nose. Taste has a very pleasant orange, caramel, pine and light herbal element - nothing stand out but very sessionable. Medium bodied but lacked carbonation, the pour seemed to knock it out which was a shame.

330ml can from Beer52 - Pours a clear golden colour with a small foamy near white head. The aroma is fruity, citrus with some pine hop notes. A moderately sweet taste, sweet malts, caramel, citrus flavours with resiny and light pine and moderately light bitterness.
