Vielen Dank an kappldav123! 11/12/11/12/9/11

Bottled. A chestnut colored beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and pumpernickle bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, pumpernickle bread, and nuts, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted breadish, light phenolic. Roasted breadish flavoured, light caramelish. Solid hoppy counterbalance. Smooth lingering malty roasted finish with a touch of bitterness coming through.

Bottle, thanks David. Red chestnut, creamy brown head. Light spicy nose, roast and a hint hops. Fullbodied, roast and preserved fruit, plenty of bitteringhops to balance. Roast and honey retronasal. Sparkly mouthfeel. Quite nice I thought.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Hoppy and dry aroma. Starts mild, modest malty, a bit sweet and alcoholic. Finish a bit drier, also metallically. An average bock!

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, quickly diminishing off-white fluffy head; faint dark-malty and hoppy nose with a tinge of onions; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 6.9%; increasing bitterness in the delicate dark-malty finish. Harsh, thinnish, unharmonic Bock.........

Bottle. A nice-looking, clear copper-colored beer with an off-white head. A bit grainy on the nose, with caramel, some fruityness and a little touch of citric and sweet artificial fruityness. Sweet, malty and boring flavor with a little fruityness. Fullbodied and slightly sticky in the mouth, some roasted malt and caramel in the finish. A boring bock. (080412)
