200ml glass, poured from tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri. Clear pale golden body. Remaining filmy layer at the surface. Smell of grassy hops and earthy malts. Taste of dry and bland fruits, like lemon, alongside pale malts and a touch of cardboard. Dry fruity ending. Medium to thin bodied. Rather disappointing (Oslo 28.03.2014).

Tap at Dada, Sheffield. This was something like my 20th beer if a long evening, so a pils wasn’t really going to stand out. Fresh and lively. Will try this again and do it justice.

Keg at the Euston Tap. It pours clear golden yellow with a thick white head. The nose is farmhouse bread, straw, earth, light spice and faint lemon. The taste is crisp, doughy, light bitterness, straw, grass, peppery notes and a good malt backbone. Finishes crisp and dry. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Crisp, well-rounded and rather drinkable. Nice pils.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear yellow, lightly effervescent with a fluffy white head. Dry biscuits in the nose with hints of grass and hay. Light sweet flavor with crunchy cereal, bitter grain husks. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately dry to finish with more grains, very dry biscuits, grassy and husky bitterness. Good if a touch overly bitter at times.
