Dark brown to mahogany colour, one inch of creamy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of burnt sugar, rye bread crust, some licorice, and prune notes; not bad at all

Gute Menge Hefe. Malzige und schokoladige Noten sind bestimmend. Schön weich. Ein recht süffiges und schmackhaftes dunkles Weizen.

Bottle(@Obersalzmountain):Amber to deep amber coloured, hazy, smaller off-white head; sourish-caramelly nose with a delicate wheaty touch; sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied but not soft; relatively thin sourish-wheaty and caramelly finish with a mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Not really good… --- Beer aliased from original tick of Grandauer Dunkle Weisse on 18 Feb 2016 at 14:39 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottle(@Metro Feldherrnhalle): Hazy, amber coloured, medium-sized and quite quickly collapsing loose off-white head; sweetish fruity-toasty and yeasty nose, wheat well hidden, phenolic spices hiddes as well; mild to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied and quite creamy, both mild bitterness and mild tartness detectable in the otherwise fruity and malty finish. Nothing special, but a very well quaffable brew…

(bottle) Cloudy, brown colour with a medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Yeasty, delicately roasty malty and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of grain, caramel and a berry-fruity touch. Mildly sweet and slightly sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Quite balanced mix of malty, wheaty and fruity flavours, the latter getting slightly vinous tart towards the finish, accompanied by shades of caramel and phenolic spices. Good. 29.X.15

Sampled draught at some bar in Munchen. -the best beer I've tasted on my trip to Munchen(Oktoberfest), dark amber coloured with rich foamy head, strong fruit hints, great bitter-sweet finish
