Caña en la Abadía Leon 16..06..2016. (r11). Color oscuro casi negro. Aromas y sabores maltosos algo carbonizados al calentar con amargos lieramente persistentes. Toques de cafés y ligeros cacaos. Buena. Ligera sorpresa. Para repetir.

At a tasting, smallish head, dark brown color with reddish taints, aroma of milk chocolate, dark bread and something stale, flavor of chocolate and charred wood wth hat stale hint, a bit harsh bitterness. Bland and dreary.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Max. Brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, nuts, mild hops. Sweet flavor with malt, nuts, a bit of chocolate, and mild bitterish hops finish. Medium-bodied. Decent. More like a Porter.
