Thanks to the two fermentations in the Brakspear ’Double Drop’ system, this highly aromatic and satisfying strong beer delivers its rich flavour with subtlety and balance.
Crystal, Black and Maris Otter pale malts provide the backbone of this outstanding rich beer. Hops are added three times to provide a good balance between bitterness and fragrance.
This is a triple hopped strong beer, packaged in individually numbered bottles.

330ml bottle. Pours a dark orange brown with a small head. Aroma is toffee and Lemsip. Taste has toffee and lemon. Some raisin. A bit boring. Agree with Silk, the old version was a lot better.

Heavy banana and vanilla aroma, syrupy palate with bitter and long lasting aftertaste. Nice clear deep golden appearance with thin lasting beige head.
