Name changed from Triple to Triple III in 2015.

Thanks to the two fermentations in the Brakspear ’Double Drop’ system, this highly aromatic and satisfying strong beer delivers its rich flavour with subtlety and balance.

Crystal, Black and Maris Otter pale malts provide the backbone of this outstanding rich beer. Hops are added three times to provide a good balance between bitterness and fragrance.

This is a triple hopped strong beer, packaged in individually numbered bottles.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lightly alcoholic and aceton-ish, with caramel maltyness and some dried fruits. Medium to full body, lightly warming on the palate, with caramel, some acetone and dried fruits. Pleasant bitterness in the end. Overall, certainly not my favorite, it’s way to alcoholic for that. 121110
