On tap at the White Swan, Leeds. Pours brown with medium beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, bit lactic, smooth, something underlying which I don't like. Bit watery. Dry bitterness.Medium bodied.

Opaque black, coffee foam. Aroma: burnt barley, burnt toast, slightly earthy and coffee. Taste: burnt berley, dry, a little coffee, bitter slightly creamy, cigarettes ash, a little hops.

Tap at Salon piva. Full roasty malty flavour, moderate body yet rather dry beginning to end. Lots of roasted coffeeish flavours. Cocoa. Tasty.

On tap at piccadilly tavern, half pint. Thick creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Nice roasted notes. A good stout.
