Nice dark amber like color. Don’t smell that much. Average taste, low body and carbo.

Amber like colour with a normal head. Smells a bit weird. Taste makes up for the smell though. Mouthfeel is very nice, body is also nice.

Ruby color, small beige head, lace. Berryish, metallic nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to nose: berryish (cranberries, strawsberries) with metallic notes. Leffe-like brew, not too bad.

Originally started to benefit the success of the popularity of Speciale Belge and amber beers in general in the Netherlands. Amber colour, nice creamy head. Aroma of caramel, (toasted) malts and sweet fruits. Taste caramel, malts, slight smoky flavour. Slight bitterness. From the generic amber beers this just might be the best one, but it’s still a generic amber beer. (from 33cL bottle)

Bottle. This one pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, creamy, off-white colored head. Decent aroma, syrupy fruityness and caramel. Maybe a bit on the sweetish side. Syrupy and fruity flavor too, some caramel and hops, not much bitterness. Low on bitterness in the finish too. Maybe this style of beer doesn’t need much bitterness, but I don’t think there’s sufficient in this one. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. An easy drinking beer, but a bit on the sweet side I think. 091016

Bottle: Light amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; sweet fruity-malty nose with - presumably - traces of coriander or anis; mainly moderate sweetish flavour, accompanied by some faint bitterness, medium bodied; sweet-caramelly finish. Not bad, but quite monotonous.......

Bottle, 5%. Mild fruity aroma, slightly sweet with a hint of anise. Clear amber colour. The flavour has a little coriander and clove. Anise feel as well, but ever so subtle. Good maltiness, a little sugary.

Bottle, pours clear amber with a thin off white head. Smells sweet and spicy. Burnt sugar, and malt on the nose. Flavors are pleasant with cinnamon sugar cookie and a peppery spice in the finish. The mouth is light with thin carbonation and a lingering finish.
