Corked bottle. Orange blonde, hazy. Lemon, orange peels and a hint of pepper in the aroma. Moderately citric sour flavor with orange peels, white pepper and a hint of leather. Some hopbitterness. Just a hint of fruity sweetness. Well balanced.

Bottle @ WWT IV, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grainy malt, bit spicy, bit flowery hop. Slight sweet in taste, bit citrussy bitterness. Hoped for a bit more bretty character.

Bottle at WWT. Clear golden with short lasting white head. Nice tropical fruits, musty grains, hay, lime rind, lemonade, white pepper. Light sweet with spicy touch and bitter finish. Very nice, I really like saisons like this.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 21 Aug 2014) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, dried fruit, peaches and a touch of brett. Malty, fruity, spicy taste with bread, grass, peaches, yeasty saison flavours and a balanced spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Interesting and fairly tasty. Quite nice.

Taster size on tap @ In De Wildeman. Golden blonde color, rather clear. Dense rocky white head, with good lacing. Aroma’s: fruit, sour, light funk. Retronasla it’s fruit, funky (not necessarily brett), light sweetness, spices (aniseed, ginger). Flavor is rather bitter with a light sweetness, herbal. There’s something quite pungent that’s hard to describe. Medium bodied. Finishes bitter and herbal.
