Our colab with PINTA here resulted in a beer that is a solid, distinctive Double West Coast IPA made with our favourite hops. We mixed a classic Mosaic with a modern twist: Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin from Australia and New Zealand. Expect white fruit, tropical notes and some serious bitterness.
Oh yes, this beer is bitter – ca.120 IBU. Let’s time travel together to when beers were really bitter 😊

50cl can. A murky yellow golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of apricot, bitter juicy hops, zest. Taste of intense juicy hops, apricot, zest, tangerine, glue, long bitter finish. Jak dla mnie to to mandarynkami z tropikami pachnie. Moze wmawiam sobie winogrona. Zaskakujaco slodko w odbiorze i sporo ciala jak na parametry. Intensywne. Goryczki niewiele. Bdb puwi, acz dosc ciezkie. Aha, alko super schowane

Tap at Beergeek, Prague. Murky orange body, white head. Very, very oniony aroma, truly gone in that way more than I'd expected it would go, but backed with some citric notes. Big bitterness strikes in the taste, herbal and earthy, with some nice citric and apricot notes. Extremely well hidden alcohol for 9.8% too. But too dry and earthy to be fully enjoyable for me. Some others loved it (I guess craving truly dry IPAs), I think I can see why, but the taste combo didn't work from me and it was slightly off-balance there in my opinion. Interesting collab nonetheless.
