Bottle, 4%. Clear amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, little hop and a little fruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, medium sweet, hops, fruit, little toffee and a little bitter.

Clear amber color, small white head. Nutty, fruity, English hoppy aroma. Light bodied, crisp carbonation. Nutty, some citrus and caramel. Very typical English bitter. I like single hop concept anyways.

Light brown, clear, 2 finger white head, good lacing
Aroma of spicy, slightly peppery hop. biscuity malt, caramel malt, slight skunk.
Taste of biscuity malt and spicy hop.
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body. Finish - light citrus, spicy hop with bit of a metallic tail.
Average bitter. Nothing special. Won’t be buying this again.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours amber with a foamy 4 finger off-white head. Rather malty aroma. Flavor is malty, with a suggestion of citric sour. It’s not very bitter. Drinks ok. Starts to develop bitter after awhile. Washes down bacon crisps a treat.

Clear amber to copper red beer, practically no head, just a small off-white layer. Aroma: little caramel, bready, unripe fruits, green banana peel, resembles very much a "Spéciale Belge" like Palm. MF: no carbon, light to medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: bready, hops, toast, unripe fruits, bit metallic. Aftertaste: bitter hops, bitter orange peel.

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear, amber pour with a white, foamy head that subsides a bit. Metal and undercooked bread on the nose. Flavor is a bit metallic with yet more dough, and just the slightest hints of bitterness. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. FInishes lightly sweet with some tang on the tongue, with very mild malts. Drinkable but extremely plain.
