Like anything in life, to create something of rare quality you need the finest quality ingredients, and this philosophy not only applies to our beers, it extends to our farm animals too. Our herd of Longhorn cattle that reside on the farm at Purity are a beautiful thoroughbred herd. These heritage beasts with their magnificent horns, the best-balanced character graze on the luscious green grass of our Warwickshire farm and feed on our finest spent grain Just like our cattle Longhorn IPA is full of character taking only the best characteristics of American and English Pale ales, combined with enticing hop aromas, sweet rye malt backbone and decisive bitterness that all balance together to produce a beer that is bred to perfection.

Hazy dark orange colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of resinous hop and caramel. The profile overall is closer to a Double IPA. Certainly packed with flavour.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Looks fine. Mellow and fine hoppy aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Balanced sweetness and a nice bitterness. Ok tail and a semi dry texture. Citric hoppy, fruity and some pine in the flavor. Nice session able beer.

Cask at The Royal, Charlton Kings. Clear amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma: tropical fruits, stone fruits, grapefruit and a hint of pine. Taste: tropical and stone fruits, pine, finish is bitter, also a slightly odd and acidic aftertaste. Medium body, average carbonation. Not bad.

330ml can @ Rule of Tum, Hereford. Pours a misty gold with receding white head. Aroma is caramel, orange. Taste continues, with a good sweet flavoursome hop bite, exotic fruits, decent body. Yeah it’s alright.
