Our herd of Longhorn cattle that reside on the farm at Purity are a beautiful thoroughbred herd. These heritage beasts with their magnificent horns, the best-balanced character graze on the luscious green grass of our Warwickshire farm and feed on our finest spent grain Just like our cattle Longhorn IPA is full of character taking only the best characteristics of American and English Pale ales, combined with enticing hop aromas, sweet rye malt backbone and decisive bitterness that all balance together to produce a beer that is bred to perfection.

Halfpint på The Wrestlers (Highgate Northhill), i lag med Steven: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum. Deilig, balansert apa med flott kropp. Lyse frukter, honningsødme, friske granskudd og lekker ettersmak. Elegant munnfølelse.

Palish amber colored, white creamy head. Aroma is some caramel malt and lots of tropical fruits, some citrus and floral hops, pungent. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt backbone, fruity, tropical fruits, watermelon, mango, less citrus and some floral medium bitterness. Dry, lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit resiny. Decent hoppiness with just right amount of bitterness.

Citrus and grapefruit, some tropical fruts even. Quite new world style. Taste is refreshing, tropical fruits, apricots and peaches, some tartness, solid bitterness. Maltiness shines through. Nice, and only 5%? Great!

330ml can. Booths, Ilkley. Clear amber. Film of sticky, off white head. Juicy citrus. Toffee. Red fruit. Taste is sticky sweet. Quickly turns juicy bitter. More sticky stuff on the palate. Finishes moderate bitter. Ok.

Keg pint in The Bacchus, Birmingham city centre on 30th Aug 2014. Pours a true amber with a good lasting head. The nose was a grapefruit hoppy affair with other citrus fruits joining in, the taste followed along the same lines with a crisp almost sharp palate. There is a maltiness deep within the brew but hops rule the flavours from start to finish.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Bash 2014. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is nettle hop citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody resin hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
