Can. Reddish brown with a good cm of beige head. Slightly flat aroma of caramel, toast, pine, oranges. Eh, seems more open as it warms a little. Medium bodied. Not all that sweet with strong resin and bitterness soon swamping the malt. Dry and a bit boozy at the end but OK.

Nos shows massive pine and resinous hops, caramel, grapefruit, orange marmalade.Flavours include more pine, rich sweet toasty and caramel malt notes, massive resinous hops, along with spicy, earthy and herbal hop notes too.

From a 355 can on 19/7/2020. Pours a clear deep dark red with a medium head. Has a quite a modest nose - just a touch of fruit and toast. Taste wise, it features some caramel malt with some dark and citrus fruit, followed by a medium bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. More than decent, but unlikely to set your world on fire.

Can. Deep, deep red. Some musty pine needles on nose with some orange. It's bitter, almost metallic. Caramel and cola. Not quite the gem I was looking for.
