Edelste und teuerste bayrische Aromahopfen sorgen für ein ausgeprägtes und elegantes Hopfenaroma, das an frische Blumen und Kiefernharz erinnert. Im Antrunk ist unser Mariensteiner Pils sehr rezent und spritzig, geht es in eine trockene, jedoch sehr feine Bittere, die lange anhält. Im Nachtrunk schmeckt man Noten von Rosenessenz und Harz.
Durch die feine bittere Note wirkt das Mariensteiner Pils sehr appetitanregend und eignet sich daher besonders gut als Aperitif.
Besonderheiten der Herstellung: Intensive Einmaischverfahren, lange und kalte Nachgärung von 5-6 Wochen mit Kräusen zur natürlichen Karbonisierung des Bieres. Keine Pasteurisation.
Durch die feine bittere Note wirkt das Mariensteiner Pils sehr appetitanregend und eignet sich daher besonders gut als Aperitif.

Bottle at the restaurant at Lenggrieser Mountain Camping, Lenggries Saturday 29th January 2022 after a spot of cross country skiing. Pours gold, good clarity with a white head. Dry with a middling bitterness and hoppiness, fruity, pretty good.

Flascherl (Many thanks to MoritzF!): Golden, clear, visible carbonation, medium-sized creamy bleached head, bitter-sweet hayish and grainy-malty nose with a mild bready (Bohemian oxidation?) touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering dry herbal-grassy finish with a small amount of pale malt in the aftertaste. 330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, slightly bready. minimally muggy, malty aroma, plain hoppy overtones with a minimally soapy touch. Taste is minimally sweet, pale malty, minimally strawy, moderately bitter hoppy, minimally grassy and mineral. Watery texture, indifferent palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Minimal failings in the nose, rather clean taste - OK.
