Bottle. Nose is mango, orange, pineapple, honey; sweet. Taste is resin, pineapple, hint of orange, malt, sweet herbal hop finish. Mouthfeel is full and slick. It’s a nice IPA and the malty character makes it more interesting than the average west coast IPA.

355ml bottle. Very hazy, reddish, copper-ish, dark amber colour with average to huge, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweaty, fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of blood orange, red berries, gooseberry, nettle, blue-veined cheese, purulence. Taste is herbal, leafy, minimally chalky, bitter hoppy, notes of bitter orange, orange zest, gooseberry, some sweat; extremely sugarless in a way. Plays definitely on a genuine claviature, British history inspired.

[2/27/15] Draught at Deschutes Brewery & Public House in Portland. Hazy reddish amber. Aroma of “green” hops, a bit oniony, with some caramelly malt. Sweetish flavor, malty, caramelly, with “green” hops, oniony, piney, and a bit citric. Medium-bodied.

Lovely deep orange amber color with nice frothy tan head. Good lacing. Rich aroma with pine, resin, dried fruits and hops. Solid body and a bit oily texture. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Rich flavor here. Lots of resin, some pine, a bit tropical fruity and hoppy. Powerful complex IPA.

355 ml bottle, from Fakta Hirtshals. BB date was 30.05.2014. ABV is 6.8%. Hazy amber colour, large head, slightly off-white. Strong and typical American IPA aroma of caramelized orange marmalade, also notes of pine. Soft mouthfeel. Very hoppy flavour, also decent malts, but not too sweet. Very bitter finish, piney and resinous notes. Good stuff.

(Keg at Pipes of Scotland, Uppsala, 20140924) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and creamy toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, creamy toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A well done IPA.

Bottle at the Roadhouse BBQ, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium amber with a long-lasting frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is citrus fruit, piney hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a crisp woody citrus liqourice hop bitter palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served cool and it certainly hit the spot. Lots of hoppy goodness!
