Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, toffee and licorice, along with oak, vanilla and bourbon. Sweet roasted flavour with just the right amount of bourbon, and a notable tannin bitterness in the finish.

750ml bottle. Smooth, slightly heavy roasty and earthy with loads of licorice, dark chocolate, woody notes, oak, hints of bourbon and molasses. Pretty good old skool bourbon BA IS

Bottle shared with Johnny! Tasted side by side with the Cedar wood version. Opaque black with a nice dark brown colored head. Aroma is heavy bourbon. Flavor is malts, roasted malts, bourbon. Nice soft palate, sticky texture, quite full bodied. Quite awesome.
The cedar wood version has more of the base beer in it I think. Sort of fresh, but with hints of laurel and liquorice in there as well. Guess this must be the cedar wood? A slight odd minty note though. Solid malt bitterness and light booze in the finish. Alright.

Bottle, 750 ml at Goblet shared with others. Black with brownish head. Chocolate, some coffee, bourbon, dark fruit, dried fruit, sweet, bitterish finish. Full bodied. Old school impy, well done.

Bottled 750ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, vanilla and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, vanilla and alcohol with noticable bourbon notes. Bit boozy but well done.

Big fat BBA stout, back to the heavy monsters. This one is still pretty sharp, with hot bourbon and dirty roast. Could be very good with another year or so, but as it is now it is a bit disappointing compared to the rating. Not bad, but sharp.

Bottle @ Kvickly Middelfart. Sir Alex Share. Cheers. Pours mega Black with a small Beige head. Heavy roast, booze, charcoal and coconut. Vinous, Big and warming. I still prefer the Non BA / Regular version. These barrels dont harmonise or smooth out the heavy base beer but makes Them more sharp and unrefined. Roasted bitter alcoholic finish.
