33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Gorinchem. Dutch brewery #404. Clear amber with a white head. Light caramel, some banana and wheat aroma. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Decent but unexciting.

Slightly hazy medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, diminishing to a 5 mm layer, fair lacing. Aroma sweet and toasted malt, caramel, hint of citrus. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar, bit roasty. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, caramelish sweetbitter aftertaste, sugary notes, nice wheat beer, maybe a tad too sweet.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange-brown amber, stable white head. Quite dark for a Hefeweizen. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeast, herbal hints. Taste: Smooth, wheat malt, yeasty notes, hints of roasted malt and herbs and very light hints of banana. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Somewhat more bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Not really exciting, but a solid sweetish hefeweizen.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before February 2021. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of honey, some caramel and a touch of overripe banana. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy taste of honey, vanilla, caramel, some overripe banana, a touch of clove and traces of cinnamon, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid amber Weizen, unspectacular but well-crafted for sure.
