A dark brown beer with a beautiful, big and beige head. Aroma is strongly spicy, cinnamon, cardamom, salt liquirice, red glogg, juniper; very complex and X-mas aroma. Taste is spicy, cardamom, roasted malts, quite dry aftertaste. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation that is smooth. What a spicebomb, X-mas is here, but overally to spicy and beer got only walk-on role.

Pours very dark brown with a large, fading head.Nose shows ginger, roasted malt, citrus and cinnamon. The spices definitely dominate. Nice but perhaps a little full-on. I would have liked the base beer to stand out more.Flavours are a bit of a surprise, I was expecting sweeter. Instead there’s some roasted malt and a lot of herbal bitterness. The spices aren’t as prominent as in the aroma but there’s still some ginger and cinnamon present. Body seems light on, could be higher.

Bouteille 500ml, courtoisie de SlovakSniper. De couleur brune très foncée et voilée. Nez très épicé (pain d’épices, cannelle, gingembre, clou de girofle, notes de muscade), malté de caramel toffee, léger de fruits (agrumes sucrées, raisins) avec des notes de chocolat et de pain. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture moyennement crémeuse. Goût épicé (gingembre, cannelle, moyen de pain d’épices - présent en avant-plan toute la gorgée) accompagné d’une légère amertume de houblon herbeux aux notes citriques (présent en arrière-goût toute la gorgée) ainsi qu’avec des notes fruitées (raisins, traces d’agrumes avec zest) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel légèrement sucré et aux notes terreuses et faibles rôties ainsi que des notes de chocolat puis en finale le goût épicé revient en force (des notes de muscade ressortent du bouquet d’épices). Post-goût long-moyen, composé d’un goût d’épices avec des notes de houblon herbeux et des traces de chocolat.

Bra namn på öl som är svårbestämt. Mycket jularomer men lite tunnt. Kryddningen spretar kanske lite för mycket. Får se hur den smakar nästa jul.

This beer smelled a bit like some Kasparus beers: Like Chinese food.. Think it’s ginger. Also in the taste. Don’t really like that.

Dark, little red glow in color. Smell is off, ginger and soap in it. Soapy taste also, and again ginger. Yuk, not good at all!

Clear brown - red beer. Soft palate. Spicy beer! But not hot spice. Lots of ginger and smooth cinnamon. Lactose sweet malt buried underneath, but this beer is all about the spice and it’s delivered well.

Süßer Kräuterantrunk, inbegriffen sind deutliche Hefenoten. Dann herber, deutlich malziger, durch den Hopfen frisch. Überraschenderweise ist es dann auch der Hopfen, der später im Mittelteil steht, die Kräuternoten sind dahinter präsent. Ein interessantes Aromenspiel findet dann auch im Nachgeschmack statt, hefig, deutlich hopfig, angenehm süßlich nach Kräutern. Wirklich gut! 9/12/11/12/12/12

Red brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and extremely spicy of cardamom and in particuler ginger. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. The excessive quantities of ginger really makes this beer live up to it’s name. I’m no fan of ginger in beer. 291110
