Pours very dark brown with little head. Aromas of chocolate, dark toast, and perhaps chocolate. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with coffee and perhaps chocolate. Really smooth. Dryish. Astringent. Hints of dark fruit.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and smoke, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, Quimby St. Portland. Deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Nicely satisfying. Good malts, not overly choc or coffee, but holds its own. Easy drinking porter. Juicy fruity dark fruit aroma. Coffee choc balanced by dark plums, blackberry. Lovely fruity porter with a choccy edge.

An excellent interplay of molasses and chocolate through out the beer and finishes very chocolatey.
