Aged a couple years in the cellar. Black with a thin, frothy, white head. Aroma promises lots of licorice, ash, roasted grains. Taste is toasted bitter over a big, sweet, malty body with lots of chocolate. Body to the full side of medium, very mild carbonation. Decent chewiness. The 10% is exceptionally well hidden. Goes down real easy. Nice!

Fles gekocht bij de brouwerij. Donkerbruin tot zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en wordt allengs krachtiger. De 10% is niet te direct merken maar komt later wel naar boven. Verder heeft het wat chocolade, koffie en een vleug vanille. Ik vind deze toch wat tegenvallen.

Geringe Karbonisierung. Süffiger, mild süßer Malzbeginn. Ein wenig hefig, zunehmend röstig, rund. Leicht alkoholisch werdend, weich bitter, fast laff angesichts des Alkoholgehalts. Dann steigt die Intensität, malzig-herb, hefig, mittellanger Abgang. 10/10/11/12/7/11

HPours a very dark brown color, almost black small, creamy, off-white head. Sweet, dark chocolate, cacao, dark malts, coffee.
