BARREL-AGED WILD BITTER ALE
Brewed with Spalt Select and Strissel spalt in collaboration with Kent Falls Brewing Co. Fruity and funky with a bitter finish. Aged on oak for 21 months.

Ingredients:
water, barley malt, wheat, hops, wild house culture.

Batch #1 (5.5%) Bottled on 27-05-2020.

Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is tart, fruit, oak, vinous, some funkyness, Taste is the same, wood, dry, tart brett. very nice.

Bottle, batch#1. Orange golden color. Vinous, floral grassy hops and grapefruit in the aroma. Soft sour flavor, lots of citrus, grass and floral notes. Totally dry, oak and funk. Well balanced. Very good.

Hazy golden with white head. Sour grains, old berry leaves, old barrel. Sour grainy, bitter, yoghurty, grapey, old pineapple, berries, soft herbs. Soft sweet and smooth and mild sour. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy golden wirh white head. Creamy grains, yoghurt and lots of Nevel house culture, bitter herbs, vanilla oak, wheat, lemon balm, leafy. Medium sweer, solid bitter and soft sour. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Another lovely Nevel beer.

Very cloudy blond to beige beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, lemony, tannins, lime, sourish impression. MF: no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sour start, very bitter, some tannins, wood notes. Aftertaste: fruity touch, some kiwi, pretty bitter, lots of brett, funky, nice!
