Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear dark ruby red, my be even red-purple color, medium to full sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts, yeast lightly and some red fruit candy-ish influence. Taste malts, again a hint of red fruit candy, sweetish, lightly herbal / spicy. Typical Belgian ale flavors. A lot of residual sugar as well. Drinkable but meh at best.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from ’Drankenspeciaalzaak van Haastregt/Lamers’, best before March 2018. Hazy, brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty and rather spicy aroma of caramel, cinnamon, vanilla and some clove. Sweetish, malty and quite spicy taste of caramel, cinnamon, clove and some vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, not really my thing.

33cl bottle from cafe paleis. Hazy amber pour. Herbal aroma and aftertaste. Coriander is the dominant herb. Nice first brew. Refreshing despite the 7.4%
