Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, roast, lots of liquorice, caramel, candy sugar, vague hint of hops in there. Flavour is sweet and a bit sticky with a medium bittersweet finish. Body is medium. Ridiculously overcarbonated, making the beer hard to drink. Where are all the tasty American hops? Instead, there’s a shitload of liquorice. Add to that the annoying carbonation. Not good.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige en wat houtige geur. De smaak is gebrande mout, chocolade, hout en drop.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Diep donkerbruin bier met matig beige schuim. Aroma moutig en houtig. Smaak is houtig de nasmaak heeft iets peper achtigs.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, licorice, citrus and grassy hops in the aroma. Tart flavor with candied fruitsweets, grassy hops and roast. Hint of licorice. Nice, well belanced beer.

05/11/2016 @home - 33cl bottle from a trade with jerre. Thick black to brown colour with light tanned head. Nose is dark malts, licorice, some dark fruits. Taste is dark malts, licorice, hints of chocolate, bitter hops, verry little citrus.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel hoppy aroma. Roasted malty caramel hoppy bitter flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel hoppy bitter finish.

Bottled. A black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter, and roasted finish.
