Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy amber color, small frothy head. Some caramel and resiny hops aroma, a bit earthy; light colored caramel flavor, moderately sweet, resiny hops. Not very bright.
Nice.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Orange amber with small ring of head. Flowery, fruity, bitter aroma. Taste dries out a bit, mild bitterness, Solid grain bill.

Hazy and tan. Thin head. Has some herbal, earthy hops, though maybe a touch cheesy. Bitter, with a touch of cheese. There’s a touch of orange here, but not a whole lot of nuance. For the style, it’s made ok but lacks any sort of subtlety that might carry a whole bottle across the palate.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus and piney hops upfront, followed by resins and sweet caramel malt. Flavour is nicely constructed, with lots of piney and citrus hops upfront, and balanced with lightly sweet biscuity malt. Some booziness in there too, but it's quite pleasant. Very piney hoppy and boozy. Nice stuff. Very enjoyable.
