Wie bei allen Pinkus Bieren stammen auch die Zutaten dieser Spezialität aus kontrolliert biologischer Erzeugung. Ein ganzes Jahr lang lagert das Bier im Keller der Brauerei und entfaltet dabei prächtige Aromen, die der Liebhaber kräftiger Biere am besten bei mäßiger Trinktemperatur (10 bis 12 °C) genießt.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, würzig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr malzig, leicht fruchtig süß, getreidig.

Bottle looks a bit complex and a bit like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass light brownish, small head. Starts strong, modest alcoholic, sweet, intense notes of caramel. But also quite dry background, so the finish is somehow unbalanced. Strange beer!

Smell of malts and apple. Dark bronze colour, beige/yellow head which diminishes quickly. Very sweet and very bitter, taste diminishes rather quickly. Somewhat oily. Aftertaste of roasted malt. Also some sourness.

Clear golden with a white head. Sweet malty and citrus aroma and taste with a crisp bready finish.

The official Odense sunny Thursday evening in June monster tasting event. Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee and caramel with a hint of vanilla. Sweetish malty flavour with caramel and a touch of alcohol

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, June 2012 (SfHOdense). Pours clear amber with a small white head. Nose is sweet caramel and fruit. Sweet flavor. Chewing gum, fruit, salt and alcohol. Medium bodied.

Swing top bottle at home. Amber color with medium head. Sweet malty aroma and flavour, ripe fruit, caramel,alcohol. Very average.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. w. swing top.Light unclear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, riped fruit - berry, sugar, wood notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, fresh wood, riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120205]

Swing top bottle from bierzwerg.de web shop. Amber color with medium white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some fruit, alcohol. Taste, sweet malty, some berries, caramel, maybe honey, surprisingly thin bodied. Sweet finish. I am quite disappointed.
