Wie bei allen Pinkus Bieren stammen auch die Zutaten dieser Spezialität aus kontrolliert biologischer Erzeugung. Ein ganzes Jahr lang lagert das Bier im Keller der Brauerei und entfaltet dabei prächtige Aromen, die der Liebhaber kräftiger Biere am besten bei mäßiger Trinktemperatur (10 bis 12 °C) genießt.
Als Saisonbier haben wir Pinkus Bock für gemütliche und fröhliche Stunden an langen Herbst- und Winterabenden für Sie gebraut.

Bottle. Clear copper with a small white head. Aroma of honey, malts, booze and herbs. Taste of honey, malt lozenges, caramel, herbs, some spices and dried fruits. Rather sweet and alcoholic. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Not that balanced nor elegant really.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Abv at 7&. Aroma is unexpectedly fruity with malt, stewed fruits, some caramel, berries. Flavour is sweetish with a light bitterness. Medium body. Not what I expected at all, what a weird Bock.

50 cl. fliptop bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Clear light brown with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with some dried fruit. Sweet malty taste with a too sweet finish.

Swing top bottle. Amber color. Malt, licorice and butter in the aroma. Buttery candy sweets flavor. Malty sweet. Disappointing.

0.5 l bottle from the brewery, best before September 2018. Clear, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, some red fruits and a touch of grains. Quite sweet, malty, a bit fruity taste of caramel, candied cherries strawberry jam and some honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tart finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Solid Bock, but from a beer with 7% abv you would normally expect more depth and complexity.

Flasche (50 cl) vom Bierzwerg-Versandgeschäft. - Helles Rotbraun, schwach trüb; rasch schwindender Schaum. - In der Nase Karamel, dazu schwach säuerliche und dumpf herbe Noten. - Antrunk karamelmalzig aber schlank. Milde Röstaromen, etwas Nuß und ein auffälliger, bockbieruntypischer säuerlicher Stich. Durchschnittlich rezent, für einen Bock sehr schlank. Im Abgang herbe aber wenig aromatische Bittere. Leicht säuerlicher, krautig-bitterer Nachtrunk. - Eigenartiges Gebräu, das wenig mit einem herkömmlichen Bockbier wenig gemein hat. Die penetrant säuerliche Note erscheint deplaziert, aber bei einem MHD 10/2015 kann dieses Bier eigentlich noch nicht umgekippt sein.

Malzig-frischer und angenehm tiefgehender Antrunk. Nicht zu süß, malzig-herb, frisch-intensiv, Röstaromen, Backpflaumen, Malz. Trocken-fruchtiger und sehr intensiv malzig-schwerer Nachgeschmack. Leckerer dunkler Bock.

50cl bottle @ the brewpub within a month of the best before date. Thick creamy white head. Clear amber pour. Slight sourness in the aftertaste. Not their best brew.
