Time to enjoy my day off... Just got these yesterday Baeren Northern German Style Pilsner 5% Filtered Version Earthy herbal woodsy hops up front, then light biscuit malts more hop bite and a finishing malt sweetness. Well balanced.

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Bottled 6 days ago. Great nose, floral and hoppy, crackery malt, slightly minty, touch of citrus. Lovely. Bright, pale gold with a low, rocky head. Crisp, malty, bready, hoppy and very bitter, s a northern pils should be. Very nice. The hops are bracing, the malt is solid, not sweet, bready and grainy. Crisp, clean body. Damn well done. Love it. Just want to gulp half-liters of it.
