Bottle from Likaman. Golden orange to amber, a touch of haze, and a tall, thick, fine head. Nose is..guess what? Sorachi ace. Lemon, cedar, butter, cream, plus rich honey and biscuit malts and a touch of caramel. There is also a bit of the funk from their house yeast. Sweet malt, creamy as hell, lemon, that diacetyl-like Sorachi-ness, plus a nicely, surprisingly bitter and herbal finish. I don't really dig this hop but this isn't bad. Maybe a little too bitter after all. Fun use of the hop.
