Hardywood Cuvée Peach is artfully blended by our barrel master from small batches of Peach Tripel aged in white wine barrels at varying levels of maturation from three months to more than a year. The resulting beer is beautifully complex with yeast derived stone fruit esters that harmonize with juicy peach undertones. This sparkling refresher offers a pleasantly dry finish with the slightest hint of vanilla from the toasted French Oak barrels.

Poured a hazy yellow-orange color with a small white head. Aroma was big Belgian notes, peachy, with cobbler notes and creamy vanilla. Flavor was similar, really dug this one at the time.

Peach and tart lime. Pours murky orange with good head and lacing. Tart finish. Nice balance and easy drinking peach beer with a little sour tang. Not too hardcore on the latter. Tap at brewery.

Bottle. Love nose of peaches, white wine, light spice. Clear, bright gold with a low head. Sweet, juicy peach flavor, wine, some oak, some lactic creamy tartness. Dry finish with peach and citrus notes. Lovely stuff.

Ever so slightly hazy, peach tinted body with a more prominent orange and coppered glow with a very thin, one to two centimetre tall just off-white head that dies pretty quickly. Aroma of brett, funky, slightly soured peaches, a lot of sweetness from stone fruits, a light breadiness, some subdued oak and dry notes and ending with a bit of the alcohol and honey notes that show more pungently at the end of the nose. Medium-bodied; Assertive dry and elegant malty and yeast flavours dominate at first with a soft oak and complex barrel and yeast profile that shows a little sweetness at the end, but the dry and sweet fruit notes from the peaches coupled with the oak notes are the strongest - in a good, very pungent way. Aftertaste is dry, very herbal and showing a great amount of both brett and funky yeasts as well as unfinished fruit-based sugars that hit the mark nicely and blend well with the rest of the beer. Overall, a very nice, well structured, balanced and nuanced beers that seems to be just right at two years after purchase - the complexity is there, a lot of flavours remain and are still strong and the effervescence is still present along with the body. I sampled this corked and caged, 75 cL bottle purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 16-June-2018 for US$10,99 sampled exactly two years later at my house here in Washington on 16-June-2020.
