Bottle from Londis, Bourton-on-the-Water. Pours a clear amber brown, small but consistent off white head. Aroma is quite sweet, toffee, dust, biscuit, hay, light flora. Taste of caramel, bread, grassy bitterness. Light bodied, semi-dry. Good bitter, some more hop definition would have improved it but I enjoyed it.

Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Caramel brown and clear with a small beige head. Light toffee aroma, some woody notes, maybe a touch of turps. Satisfyingly bitter in the mouth. Oaky notes among the toffee. Hoppy bitter finish. Light body, soft carbonation. An abive average bitter for sure.

From cask at The Dog & Bell in Deptford, London, 28.04.22. Clear golden. Some white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of succade, marmalade, pale malt and meadows. Welll balanced, with lingering aftertaste. Surved in superb conditions, as all ales at The Dog & Bell are.

Bottle online from The Natural Grocery Store. Pours a clear light copper colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aroma is biscuit, bread, sweet toffee and a hint of citrus. Taste is more biscuits, sweet toffee and citrus, with a hint of nuts and a big grassy and earthy hop bitterness on a dry finish . Medium body, average carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Not a bad beer but the bitterness on the finish is a tad too harsh for me personally.
