Good dense yellowish head over veiled orange golden beer. Partly fruity, grapey aroma but also a sharper streak, almost aldehyde-like. Faint citrus wafts, suggesting some acidity, herbs, coriander. Bitter-ish, with a citrussy streak, faint acidity, ending drier and again more bitterish. Coriander is obvious but acceptable in measure. Faint liquorice, no sweetness, ironoxide. Seems well attenuated. Despite good carbonation, creamy MF, which might well be the other grains. Light to medium body. Despite the unavoidable coriander & citrus addition, fairly decent triple! Thanks to L&Y for bringing

Bottle from a Durbuy shop - thanks, Anke! Hazy golden, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of ripe apple, pear, banana, mandarin peel, bread dough, moist white pepper, yeast. Taste has sweet apple & banana, touch of orange, spicy clove and sourish citrus over a bready, doughy-malty, yeasty base. Peppery hoppy finish, spices returning but never soapy, more ripe yellow fruits and warming jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Cliché Tripel, at least in execution, but I particularly enjoyed it, as the well-known ingredients like coriander and orange peel actually add freshness and depth rather than sweetness and soapiness.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, yeast, peach, apricot, grain, earthy notes. Taste medium sweet and below medium bitter, malty, peach, apricot, grain, yeast. Firm medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, light spicy notes, fruity notes, in between a blond and tripel, nice.
