Old school simplicity meets new school complexity here in a ramped up rebrew of our recent smasher of a pale ale. We love the high resinous, citrus and pine attack that Chinook is capable of bringing to the fore, and backed up with Ekuanot's sage, eucalyptus and melon notes creates a beer that is all about high complexity, but retaining a massive amount of drinkability. A dank, hop bomb of an IPA that has all the pillowy sweetness of an east coast IPA, but retains that west coast aggressiveness for a typical bitter Polly's bite.

16-02-20 // taster at Biererei Bar & Vintage Cellar Not your typical IPA or hazy. Quite dry. More herbal flowery. Low sweetness interesting but not my beer today. --- Beer merged from original tick of Chinook Ekuanot India Pale Ale on 16 Feb 2020 at 14:35 - Score: 7. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Tropical fruity aroma with floral notes and a touch of pine. Sweetish fruity flavour with a decent hoppy and bitter finish.

Keg at Beer Dock Crewe, High Street, 07/12/19. Hazed golden yellow with an off white covering. Nose is ripe pineapple, grass, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, papaya, ripe melon, light weed, airy malts, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness. Not top draw polly but decent enough.
