(750ml bottle from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours clear pale red with a small fizzy pink-to-white head and no lace. Aroma is bright fresh raspberry and cherry, red wine grapes for sure providing both the red fruit and obvious vinousness, deeper Cab Franc skin maceration tones with warmth, herbal peppery accents, cedar, soft woody barrel tones, delicate 'dry' leathery Brett funk. Flavour is dry and lightly tart but not much beyond a light red wine in acidity, cherries take the lead over raspberries early in the sip though the latter appear a bit more towards the finish, nice smooth tannic grape skins, acidity as much grapey as overtly lactic, drying astringent herbs, lightly aromatic cedar tones, lightly peppery, funk is quite restrained but present, oak in the finish and aftertaste alongside soft minerality. Light-bodied with active filling carbonation. Very wine-like as expected, like a nice light-bodied Gamay in some ways but with a bit more heft than a Gamay beer might be with the Cab Franc vibes. Lovely.

Bottle: Poured a purple color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and not much lacing. Aroma of huge vinous notes with some oak and light tannin. Taste is also very much focus in vinous notes with some strong Cabernet notes coming out, light art notes with some tannin and oak also perceptible. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. This is almost closer to wine then beer. Enjoyable experience.

Power tasting at Phill's, bottle
Brilliant red colour, slight haze. Smells of farts, sulfur, slightly cheese, then grapes, and some jam. Weird mouthfeel, a bit sour and oily; it has a good fruit characters, berries, but little else to talk abolut; mild acidity.
Not impressed.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark red with a small pinkish-beige head. Aroma is complex, with loads of red wine, red grape skins, rustic saison yeast, and some wild bugs. Flavour is quite buggy, with loads of red grape skins, gentle wild yeast, grape must, and bone dry wood. Lots of bone dry grape skins, with a wonderful complexity. Lovely.
