Bottle. Amber color, cloudy, poor head. Orange and yeasty notes in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with orange notes. Very low on carbon. Rest sugars. Some floral hops. The beer is or too young or poorly brewed.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a foamy head. Sultanas, malt, marzipan and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and slightly sweet taste with caramel, apricot and sultanas standing out.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of toast, apricots and cereal. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, toast, bready malt and a mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Refreshing and tasty. Quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium to full sized off-white head. Smell and taste are pretty flat initially. After waiting for a couple of minutes I had expected some more aroma and flavors to emerge but no such thing. Although it doesn’t taste bad at all I must say this is one of the most boring beers I’ve had in a long time.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Lentebock on 23 May 2018 at 14:17 - Score: 5

Cloudy amber colour, small bubbly off-white head, disappears quickly, thin layer remains, light lacing. Malty aroma, grain, orange, dough, floral. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, bit spicy on the tongue, dry bittersweet finish.

Re-Rated 4/7/2014. Original rating 1.8. I thought i’d give this another try and i’m glad I did. The latest bottle looked and tasted a whole lot better with a malty earthy aroma, a moderate bitter light sweet palate and a hop bitter light caramel palate. I enjoyed this one, which is more than can be said for the last bottle I had, which was clearly infected or perhaps the bottle was not properly sealed. Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a round bubbly white head. Looks like dishwater to be honest. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery malt light bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with flat carbonation. Truly awful. I mean truly awful.

33cl bottle from ABCbeers. Malty/buttery aroma. No head or carbonation. Murky amber pour. Ok.
