Sample of a 75cl courtesy of a friend. Mefium tan head. Clear black pour. Lovely smooth stout. The age has smoothed it out nicely. Lovely.

Bottle 750ml. @ DOE Tasting, Fox & Hounds, Holstebro.Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, coffee, wood, light alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark roasted, alcohol warm, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20101026]

75 cL bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and dark roasted malty. Sweet, fruity, yeasty, spiced and dark toffee caramelish. Lingering fruity, malty and slight phenolic.

75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, shared with Plovmand. Pitch black, dense brown head. Aroma of strong grassy and citrus hops, hard roasted malts, bitter chocolate, coffee. Flavour is light sweet, hard roasted malts, coffee, bitter chocolate, strong bitterness underneath, bitter hoppy finish. Fullbodied, soft mouthfeel. Very good.
