33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Hoppy aroma with some bog myrtle. Sweet taste which is bit overpowered by the bog myrtle. Nice Belgian blonde with some herbal uniqueness although it’s a bit too herbal for my liking.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Unexpected gusher :-P . Murky orange colour, big foaming white head. Aroma of gale, herbal, some sourness from all the herbs (not infected). Flavour is, well, gale, resembling some kind of mixture between citrus/ginger/caraway/lemongrass, some herbal sourness, firm herbal bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Swimming against the stream here, but I liked it.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malts, some slight yeasty notes as well as a bit metallic notes. Flavour is slightly yeasty, some sweet malts with a strong floral and fruity bitterness, that turns into a quite grassy bitterness.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy rusty orange color, full sized decently lasting off-white head. Aroma is incredibly herbal, guess it must be the gagel. Taste also has the gagel incredibly dominating the flavor. Sourish as well. Yuk. Drainpour.

Een bier met Gagel, daar heb ik over het algemeen niet zulke goede ervaringen mee. Schenkt bruin/oranje, ja dat kan ;), oogt wazig met schuimige wit/licht bruine kraag. aroma van gagel, licht citrus, mout en zoet. mwaa smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, matig zuur, metalig, koriander en gagel. vreemde smaken allemaal. medium body, glad van textuur, normale co2, afdronk zuur en kruidig, erg vreemd bier met die gagel en die zuurgraad, ga er niet weer een nemen.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Gushed a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and loads of lace. Gushed all over the table in fact. The aroma is sour medicinal. The flavour is acid sour with a band-aid medicinal sour palate. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Truly awful and clearly infected.
