Fles gedeelt door Roelzie1986, geprobeerd met KoenvD. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een dun beige schuim. Het heeft een moutige en fruitige geur. De smaak is fruitig, druiven achtig en wat moutig.

Nice beer overall. Could use a little more malt profile dominance for a dubbel in my opinion. De biertuin Amsterdam. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

19/V/15 - 33cl bottle from Biernavigatie (webshop, NL) @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 20/II/13 (2015-656)
clear amber to red brown beer, big creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, bit malty, chocolate, lots of dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of caramel, dried fruits, sugary, some milk chocolate. Aftertaste: caramel, dried fruits, raisins, malty, sugary. Guilty pleasure I guess, always like a good dubbel. ;-)

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Gusher.. Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, dried fruits, caramel and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A gusher producing a dense, two-finger light beige head over an almost clear dark amber colored body. Cellar, dried fruits, some nuts and fruits in the aroma. Roasted malts, cellar and dried fruits in the flavor too, with some pleasant sweetness. Dark sugar hints and some bitterness too. Full to medium body with a quite high, but nice carbonation level. Fruity, bready finish with notes of dried fruits and cellar. Quite pleasant, but it lacks quite a bit on complexity. 140816

Bottled, dated 26/02/2013, large sample. Cloudy copper color, big rocky off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, spicy belgian yeast, slight metallic hint, hint of licorice. Bit bitter taste, medium sweet. Butterscotch. A bit on the high side with carbonation. Decent stuff.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach getrockneten Früchten, Hefe, Karamell. Geschmack hefig, Karamell, Früchte, leicht gewürzig.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish dark copper colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge, a touch of herbal malt-spiciness. Taste is dry dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, a cautious fruity touch of red berries, subtle sweetness, some dry hoppy notes in the finish.
