La «Blonde du Pays Noir», née en 2016 à la suite de plusieurs années de brassage artisanal, est une bière de haute fermentation titrant à 7%.

Elle est le fruit d’une association de cinq variétés de céréales de malt qui lui confère généreusement du corps ainsi qu’une teinte blonde légèrement foncée.

A la dégustation, il en résulte un subtil équilibre entre arômes et amertume. En effet, grâce aux houblons spécifiquement sélectionnés, quelques notes d’agrumes s’imposent dans un premier temps au palais pour laisser ensuite place à une légère pointe d’amertume.

La Blonde du Pays Noir est une bière accessible, rafraîchissante et légèrement pétillante... Tout à l’image de Charleroi !

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy blonde colored brew with an slightly sweet sticky bitter taste, subtle hints of coriander and some fruitiness.

Bottle. Clear amber/dark gold and a lovely white head. Aroma of malts, honey, bananas and vanilla. Taste of malts, bananas, honey, vanilla, coriander, sugar and alcohol. low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Well. Yeah. Alright.

On tap at Quai10, Charleroi. Malty, estery, overripe fruit, honey and 4 spoons of sugar. Some fruity notes. Medium carbonation and body.

33cl bottle from Comptoir des Fagnes beer store in Couvin. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: deep gold, hazy. A: sweet malty, coriander, bready, banana, peach, bit yeasty, honey. T: medium malty base, honey, banana, spicy, coriander, bit bready, peach, floral, medium carbonation, harmonic bitterness, nice, enjoyed.

The ordinary blonde in this new Walloon microbrewery’s young range, bottle from Willems. Medium thick, snow white, moussy head, lightly lacing, over a warm, pale orange-tinged ‘old gold’ beer, lightly hazy at first with vivid sparkling, but more misty and peachy with sediment. Aroma of dried apple peel and unripe peach, old dry coriander seed, sweetclover, bread crust, unripe banana, grass, bitter honey, straw. Quite lively and crisp, fruity onset, notes of ripe pear, apricot and light banana, medium carbonation, supple and lightly soapy mouthfeel. Lean bready malt body with a thin layer of residual white candi syrup sweetishness on top, honeyish, the soapiness enhanced by the coriander seed which is strong but inoffensive in this case (to me personally at least), matching quite well with a drying, spicy, floral hop bitter tail – after which bitterness the initial pear and banana sweetness subtly reappears, hightlighted by a touch of warming alcohol. Your classic, coriandered, sweetish Belgian blonde, but with a noble hop bitterness to it which I can appreciate. Nothing highly ambitious here, but technically completely flawless and that deserves credit in my book even if lacking originality.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Small white head. Aroma is mild herbal. Toasted. Mellow. Slight sweet. Toasted. Mild herbal. Sweet and toasted finish.

Bottle @ Creperie Bretonne, Louvain-la-Neuve. Clear blond colour, lots of creamy white foam. Sweet malty, subtle notes of peach. Rather sweet taste with light bitter finish. Decent.
