Tikka Gold a quality premium beer brewed with patience using malt, rice, hops, yeast and spring water. A Pilsner style with Indian character having a good balance of dryness and bouquet of hops and a soft malt character to complement spicy foods.

Pour is a golden with a white head. Aroma is typical lager. Some breadyness but overall this is wet paper bag. Flavor is horrible. Super tart lemonlike flavor takes over and makes you wince. It may be from Belgium but pass this one by.

Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light "generic lager" aroma. Sweet malt/grain flavor with some underlying earthy/floral hops.

Bottled [BB 03/2007]. Golden color, decent white creamy head. Light aroma of grain and corn. Quite standard malty, a bit sweetish till the aftertaste, which is harsh bitter. Not very "Indian" but as boring as real ones.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is strong grassy hops and breadish malts. Flavour is sweet caramellish malts with crashes with the stong hayish bitter hoppyness. Also some honeyish hints in it.

Pale lager with a strong head, dry malty aroma and a dry but ultimately sweet finished flavour. Overall OK but not better than average.
