Draft at Dominion Wine & Beer's upstairs bar. Poured a very hazy orange color with a medium sized foamy white head. Pleasant citrus aroma, kind of muted. Flavor was a huge blast of creamy vanilla and orange cream soda. Light bitterness. Alcohol well hidden in this one.

DIPA from this - to me - new Virginian craft brewery, can from De Hopduvel shared with Goedele; canned in September so relatively fresh. Membranous lacing, egg-white, irregular, thick, moussy head, cloudy warm egg yolk-like colour with peachy tinge. Aroma of ripe mango, blood oranges, freshly cut red onions, mandarin, soggy white bread, wormwood leaves, papaja, green banana. Fruity, bit tropical onset, mango, guava, watermelon impressions, sweet with a soft sourish touch, medium carbonation, soft and 'soggy' white bready malt body, doughy, building up towards a lovely aromatic quality, adding citrus and mango notes as well as a soft, gentle but long-stretched bitterness; alcohol remains well hidden. Noble and elegant, tropical but not overly so, modern and up to date - a truly excellent example of the style the way it is usually done these days, with NEIPA-influences.

On draft at Union Stage in D.C. Murky gold pour with an off white head. Aromas of passionfruit and citrus. Flavors are juicy but bitter citrus. NE style IPA, but a bit harsher than many. Still quite good.

My wife got some cans at the brewery: pours hazy yellow with a white head... actually a very long lasting head. Aroma is citrus, hints of pine, grapefruit. Taste is somewhat bitter, not too sweet. Very dry. Somewhat juicy. More bitter than its northern cousins.

16oz can pours a hazy yellow with some sticky, white head. Nose is nice, some muddled tropical fruits, lactose, green vanilla, a little candy. Flavor is very green, chalky, green, oranges and tangerines, grassy. Chalky finish.
