Super hazy bright golden and straw coloured body with a very thick, six to seven centimetre tall off-whtie head that stays afloat nicely and fades slowly while covering the 90 per cent opaque glow. Aroma of candy, orange juice, light grassy and slight herbal notes, but a noticeable biscuity bite towards the end and some bready yeast noticeable in the nose, too. Full-bodied; Fairly deep malt body shines at first with a deep orange, grapefruity and citrusey component as well, with some strong bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops and while only showing a touch of the alcohol, there isn't much fruit or sugars, either. Aftertaste shows the malts, yeast and breadiness, but a lot of the drier, grassy and slightly citrusey flavours while avoiding the sweetness, sugars and alcohol almost entirely. Overall, a decent enough almost Imperial (or Imperial-ish) IPA with a lot of malt and body with a clean-drinking profile, but not enough complexity, sweetness or fruit derived from the hops to be great. Nice to sample locally and fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from MOM's Organic Market in Alexandria, Virginia on 06-September-2021 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-September-2021.

Draught @ Aslin, Alexandria, VA. Sweetish, juicy tropical fruity with some hints of zesty citrus and floral hops. Okay.
THIS is a knife.
