Cask at The Finch Hatton in Ewersby. One of those light ales you can just keep chugging. I had at least three and enjoyed each one. Nice grassy citrus and enough moreish bitterness.

Clear and golden with a foamy white head, and a subtle fruity aroma of apples and melon. The mouthfeel is smooth with mild carbonation, and the flavour is sweet and fruity with a hint of hop bitterness, leaving a dry, fruity aftertaste

Cask at Old Dolphin, Derby – served from jug For years I avoided Blue Monkey beers because of the stupid pump clips. Now I’ve started drinking them they do seem to be reasonable. This one pours a pale gold with not much head at all. Has a pleasant floral hoppy aroma (not too much). In the mouth it is a mixture of tropical fruits, including peach and guava. The finish is hoppy and bitter. A respectable beer.
