Tap at Grand Cru Taproom, Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy. Pours unattractive, dark red/brown, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty and a little citrus. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is fairly bitter, but with a strong malty base behind. Final is average, a little chewy.

Bottiglia. Territorio olfattivo dominato dall'orzo e dall'agrumato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di caramello, miele, cereali, frutta secca, agrumi e arancia amara.

Malziger, sehr leicht brettiger Beginn. Milde Süße, geringe Herbe, hefig. Eher brettig bleibend, pappig, etwas trockener Abgang. Ok. 10/8/7/8//7

Color: Copper, beige head. Aroma: Hop, caramel, orange hints. Taste: Nice amount of citrus hopbitterness overwhelming the caramel malt in a good way. Bitter orange peel notes. Light milk chocolate hints. Over moderate to medium hopbitterness, moderate sweet. Fortunately not as sweet as most Dutch Bock beers. Bittery finish with citrus notes. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice hoppy Bock.
