Bottled 330ml. -from random souvenir shop in San Gimignano, shared with hrabren. Brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and light vinous nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light herbal, some dried fruits and sugary notes in the finish.

Bottle, Detour Bruin, 6%. Color: Clear ruby, thin off-white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel, yeasty and light red fruit hints. Taste: Dark malt, malty, caramel, brown sugar, yeasty notes, light hints of plum and nuts. hints of burnt sugar and roasted malt mostly at the finish. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Bittery dark roasted and slightly burnt malt finish. Ok but not that special. Comparable with a not that sweet Bokbier.
