Pale yellow colour with thin head and fine carbonation. Surprisingly intense for a low alcohol beer. Lots of zesty lime, cut grass. Bitter and refreshing.

Draught keg at Tonic, Worcester. Straw and a little hazy with a ring of white head and generous lacing. Lemon drop aroma, a little bit of grapefruit. Sweet, citrusy taste with lemon zest and icing sugar. Little bit of a malty note shines through. A touch of bitterness in the short to medium finish. Very thin body as can be expected from the ABV. It’s good, but very little to it.

Third, beer flight at Brew York in Leeds. Misty pale golden body, low white head, upper part lacing. Mild smell of grainy fruit. Hints of grapefruit and pineapple to the flavour character. Short hop fruity tail. Easy going thirst quencher. (Leeds 06.07.2022).

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with minimal off-white head. There’s honey in the aroma, alongside some hints of tropical fruits. In the mouth it majors on sweetness with honey and fruit juice, plus a biscuit and caramel base. Some floral hops and oranges later on. Pleasant enough.
