500ml bottle. Clear, reddish amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish malty and mild, minimally floral, hoppy aroma, a touch of malt lozenge. Taste is sweet-ish malty, hints of malt lozenge, a nuttily touch, floral hoppy overtones. OK.

Im Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel/UK 2018-08 getrunken. Dieses braune Ale ist bis auf eine leichte Karamellnote vollkommen belanglos.

Pours carbonated brown with no head. Soft aroma of graham cracker. Flavour is medium biscuit and a hint of citrus. Sugary on the mouth. Boring, forgettable.

Bottle at a wedding in Bristol. I used to love this stuff, but either my palate or the beer has changed as I really didn’t like it. Very one dimensional beer with, to me, quite a flavour of caramel. There was a bitterness and some of the biscuity flavour that you get from a good bitter, but overall this was poor. I have learnt that I won’t be buying this again.
