Warping Dead Water is a light beer fermented in oak barrels for 4 years and a further 1,5 years on steel along with whole sweet cherries from Frederiksdal (DK). A pleasant scent of sweet cherry liqueur, citrus, apricot, farmhouse and acid. Rich and sour taste of sweet cherries, citrus and grapes. Long maturation has brought out an intense complexity.

KØLF 250920. Red purple color with a beige head. Aroma is cherries, alcohol, sourness. Flavor is cherries, alcohol, sourness, oak, almond. Complex and powerful very nice beer.

Medium pink-cyclamen head, slowly fading over bright if dark carmin-ruby beer. Intense cherry nose, dry, suggesting tartness. Again fruit-dominated as other N.O. fruit beers. Tastes like fine (sweet) cherry wine for all the world. Boundary from beer to - fermented cherryjuice has definitely been crossed. Marzipan, hints at citrus, lemon, with a fine but present fruitacidity. Tart, but nowhere outspoken acidity. Fruit-filled, feels better carbonated than it looks, acidthinning. Oh boy, this is what we asked for. If I read the blurb well, the name is WRONG. It is not Kriek, it ought to be KERS

Bottle.Purple red color. Cherry, hint of marzipan and oak in the aroma. Sour flavor with some sweetness from the fruit. Vanilla, hint of oak, marzipan.

Bottle. Clear blood-red body with a fading pink head. Strong aroma of sweet cherries, hint of wood, almond and some acidity. Taste has sweet cherries in balance with acidity and combination with wood, almond and hint of lemon. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste with more pronounced acidity. Almost extremely well balanced fruit beer with a solid taste of real fruit and perfect match between sweet and sour. Kriek of Telemark has never been a big favorite by me, but this is a big step up.

Mørk rød uklar med rosa skum. Kirsebærvin, drueskall og noe svovel. Middels fylde. Sursøt smak. Sure kirsebær, mandler, eik og vanilje, drueskall og noe eik. Middels lang.
